Mechanics should be required to wash their hands once and awhile. My steering wheel had dirt and grime on it. I knew that would happen when i noticed grease marks on the work orders. Worse happened to my fiances car last time we came in and she won't be back.

Mr. Marple, I am terribly sorry that this occurred. We have a policy that the Technicians are to wear rubber gloves while working on the vehicles. It appears that the technician working on your vehicle neglected this rule. He has been written up for this lapse in judgment. The shop has been reminded of the policy and the repercussions of not following the policies and procedures. I will make every effort and will personally inspect your vehicle when it is returned to you; as long as I am notified of you service appointments. I take the quality of our service very seriously and this is not acceptable. I hope that you will accept my sincere apology. Al Sutherland Jr President/Owner

As usual... ACAR got our vehicle and finished the work in a timely manner. We use ACAR for all of our mechanic needs get outstanding service every time. Absolutely no complaints!

One of your technicians got grease and what looks like ashes on my fiancés interior. Needless to say that was her first and last time bringing her car to ACAR and possibly mine as well. $30 for a tire rotation is ridiculous when I get mine for free because I bought tires at town fair. The quality of work seemed to be good aside from these other issues. Time spent on the appointment wasn't quick but at least not long either.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this business to a friend.

As I indicated in my phone call, with you, I am terribly sorry that this happened. The technicians are to use seat covers, floor mats and wash their hands before getting into any customers automobile. They are not allowed to smoke in the shop, nor in the customers? vehicles. I am sorry that you did not take me up on the offer to have the vehicle completely detailed. This was the very least I could offer. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know of this experience and I can assure you that we have reviewed all of our policies and procedures and that we will be diligent to make sure that this does not happen again. I am pleased that the work was performed to your satisfaction; and again apologize for the inconvenience caused by the grease. Al Sutherland Jr

Not only did A.C.A.R. fix my truck earlier than what was originally thought. It was less than originally quoted and the truck runs GREAT!!!!! Thank you Al and your team!!!!!!
