We made appointment because "front strut needed to be replaced." OK to have front pair. But, hadda ask why we needed 4. Struts installed. Returned 3 days later because of "clunking" in RF. Replaced RF strut bracket. Discovered wheel alignment 3 days earlier was for our (since traded-in) 2001 IMPALA instead of 2001 MALIBU. This was corrected. Overall, all staff were courteous, "professional," etc. The only reason(s) for the 3 stars (instead of 5) is that we hadda return for a bracket and the alignment mistake. Both were resolved to our satisfaction.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this business to a friend.

I have been a customer for many years. And I have had good and not so good experience. I recently had to purchase another vehicle due to the fact that my mini van was totaled. Before the van was totaled, I had just put on new tires (from Dobb's) and gotten about $1000 worth of worth done (which I still owe, but no longer own the vehicle, ugh!).
I brought in a flat time from my new vehicle, a Honda Pilot. I told the service guy at the counter that I had run over a board on Hwy 44 that I was afraid had nails in it. Which obviously did, since I had a flat tire that needed repair. And it indeed had a nail in it. Well it cost me $25 to get the tire fixed since this was a new vehicle to me and the tires obviously were not purchased from Dobb's from me, so I did not get the free repair (or will I get the free rotating of tires anymore). It took about 1 1/2 hrs for me to wait for the tire to be repaired. That was a Tuesday night. I did not drive the vehicle on Wednesday. I got into the car

Well Mr. Dobbs, although when you walked in as I was leaving and didn't offer me a new set of tires I was very sad, I do enjoy doing business with your company. Your customer service is first rate and I always leave very pleased. New tires would have been nice though! :)

An hour is too long for an oil change. Jiffy lube does it in 20 minutes and I love that they include all the topping off of fluids and a vaccuum. I trust you with my tires and brakes but I won't return for an oil change.

Not for buying tires. Based on the problem with the tire, I feel as though I was sold a faulty tire and I had to pay to replace it. I won't buy that brand again since they don't back up the quality of their tires in the first place. It would have been different if all the tires were worn out and it failed for that reason.
