The job I requested was done at the price agreed upon. The tech was very knowledgeable and pointed out a few minor things that could be repaired as well. These items were done with my approval at a very reasonable price. I came out with a feeling these guys really know their stuff and do things right the first time. The job did take an extra day because parts had to be ordered but that should be expected anywhere except a dealer.

On my last visit, I ok'ed a written quote which was emailed to me. After this, it was discovered the quote was significantly less than the actual cost with ALL parts included, but I was then unreachable as I was travelling. The work was done anyway. I learned this when I came to pick the car up just before closing. It took some negotiation and back-and-forth to bring the bill down a bit, but still significantly more than originally quoted. The quote should have either been honored or the work not done - I should not have been put into a situation where I have a larger than quoted bill to negotiate down (which was still above my budgeted amount) when I arrived to pick up the car at the end of the day.
I *think* something was mentioned about a free oil change or something similar. This would be an appreciated gesture to make up for the difference of my final out-of-pocket costs.

Hi Ryan I am sorry we dropped the ball on this one. What happened was you were sent a incomplete estimate (our error) and when we could not make contact with you to sort this out we made a judgment call to install the parts that were needed to make your 1995 Mercedes Benz run correctly. It was one of those judgment calls, a customer is returning late from a trip and relying on picking up their car finished and repaired, showing up 0 dark 30 at closing during a holiday week and we have to tell you the car was apart and not drivable, you would have to make some other arrangements to get to work the next day and have to leave it over the long holiday weekend, not real great choices either way, so we chose to fix your car and have it done for you when you needed it back. I am sorry we made the wrong choice. Rick Korn Owner
